(London, August 2008)University College Hospital on Euston Road opened a new Narrative Centre as a permanent exhibition which will be regularly updated.
The purpose of the centre is to create a focus for staff and patient experiences - both positive and negative - so that lessons may be learnt in improving patient care. MSS were commissioned to design, manufacture and install a 100” Freestanding Glass Touchscreen that formed the centre piece of the exhibition. The scope of the project also called for directional audio speakers, and projectors, one of which was used as a ‘down-lighter’ producing a eye catching animated graphic on the floor. MSS specified, designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned the installation.
