MSS give charity new brand identity

MSS recently completed the project to re-brand The Matthew Tree Project, a poverty fighting charity based in Bristol, UK.

The project included the design of a new logo and brand identity, and the production of an official video which included the creative content design, DVD authoring and commissioning of the original music score and lyrics.

"The final result is brilliant" commented Denise Neale Gordon, Trustee of the charity, "it is completely different to how we were thinking, but so much better than we could ever have imagined."

The trustees of The Matthew Tree Project gave artistic freedom to MSS to interpret what the charity does and translate this into the finished work.

The Matthew Tree Project was established in July 2010 with the remit to make a significant contribution to tackling the underlying causes as well as the effects of poverty in the towns and cities of the UK. This is being achieved by a network of TMTP FoodStores that provide emergency food aid to people and families in desperate need. In addition to the provision of emergency food to feed the hungry, The Matthew Tree Project are also providing outreach care, love and support to assist people out of poverty depending on their individual circumstances. There are five pathways to poverty (1) Family breakdown, (2) addiction, (3) educational failure, (4) personal debt, and (5) worklessness and benefit dependency. The Matthew Tree Project is actively developing programmes to support people on any one, or any combination, of the five pathways to poverty in a hope that they can turn themselves around and start on the journey of a happy and fulfilling life.

Introducing the MSS Sunlight Readable Transflective LCD Professional Monitor

(Bristol, August 2008)
The MSS LCD Sunlight Readable monitor has been launched.

The latest LCD Professional Monitor has a reflective mode of illumination without compromising its transmissive illumination. With the imposed reflective function, the modified LCD can reflect the ambient light passing the LCD cell and utilize the reflected light beams as its illumination.

The stronger the ambient light is, the brighter the LCD will appear. As a result, the modified LCD is viewable under all lighting conditions including direct sunlight regardless of the LCD's original brightness.

This LCD screen is available in screen sizes of 32", 42", 47" and 52".
